Securely Access all your corporate resources from your iPhone and iPad through a Virtual Private Network (VPN) tunnel. As you launch business applications such as RDP, VoIP or any other app on your Apple mobile device, all transmitted data to corporate is.
This release includes support for Standalone E80.71 Endpoint Security VPN client and E80.71 Capsule Docs Mac Clients. The managed E80.71 Endpoint Security Client for Mac is available with support for FileVault with local users only.
Threats can occur through a variety of attack vectors. You need secure connectivity and always-on protection for your endpoints. Deploy Cisco endpoint security clients on Mac, PC, Linux, or mobile devices to give your employees protection on wired, wireless, or VPN.
DPH VPN is for users who need to access to the ZSFGH clinical network resources. These users will need to apply for DPH VPN access. Once the application has been approved, users will need to download, install, and configure the Checkpoint VPN software. The 5 major steps to obtaining access to DPH VPN are outlined below for both Mac and Windows platforms.

Note: If your VPN certificate has expired, you need to complete the DPH VPN application and open a DPH IT ticket by calling the DPH helpdesk 628-206-7378. Once the new VPN certificate or registration key has been issued, you can skip to the section of Step V. – Create a VPN certificate (using a registration key).

Note: If your VPN certificate has expired, you need to complete the DPH VPN application and open a DPH IT ticket by calling DPH helpdesk 628-206-7378. I. Complete a VPN Application
To obtain access to the DPH VPN:
Vpn Client For Mac Checkpoint Software
1.Complete a DPH VPN Form with your department manager's approval and signature. Click here to download the form.
2.Contact the DPH Service Desk at 628-206-SERV to open a ticket for a DPH CheckPoint VPN certificate.
3.Once your DPH VPN request has been approved and processed, you will be contacted via email with the registration or certificate information.
4.Follow the instructions below to install the DPH Check Point VPN software and use your registration key to generate a DPH VPN certificate.
II. Preparation for Software Installation
Before installation:
1.Uninstall previous Checkpoint VPN client version and reboot the computer.
2.Have a DPH VPN certificate or registration key distributed by DPH Security Operations.
3.Insure that your computer’s operating system is running Microsoft Windows 7 with SP1 or higher.
4.Save all your files and close all other applications prior to install.
III. Download Checkpoint VPN Client
1.Download the Checkpoint VPN Client from the link below and save the file. Note the location where you save the file.
a)Checkpoint VPN Client (Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7) and save the file.
IV. Install Checkpoint Software
1.Double-click on the downloaded file and click Run.
2.Continue with the installation. When done click Finish. You should see several window prompts in the system tray and on your desktop. When you see the last window, click on Install now.
3. Click the Restart button. Once the computer has restarted, login and proceed to Step V.
V. Configure Software
1.Double-click the yellow padlock icon in the system tray. Click Connect To… and choose Yes when prompted to configure a new site.
2.Click Next at the Site Wizard screen.
3.For Server address or Name enter, 204.68.210.62, click Next.
4.If prompted that the security certificate is not trusted screen, click Trust and Continue.
5.At the Authentication Method screen, select Certificate. Click on Next.
6.At the Certificate Authentication tab, select Use certificate from Public-Key, click on Next.
7.Click on Finish.
8.At the Check Point Mobile pop-up window click Yes.
9.At the Check Point mobile site screen:
A.If you have an existing certificate select browse to the location of your DPH VPN .p12certificate file, enter the certificate password and click connect.
B.Create a VPN Certificate (using a Registration Key)
If you have a registration key, this will be used to create a new certificate file or to renew your certificate. Your certificate is generally good for 2 years before it expires. Once it expires, you will need to submit a request for a new certificate.
1.Click you don’t have a certificate for this site.
2.At the password screen, enter and confirm a new password* that you pick, enter the VPN registration key that was provided via email, and click on Enroll.
i.Take note of the location of the certificate file. You may want to copy this file to a different storage media (e.g., USB thumb drive or a network drive if available).
ii.If you run the VPN client on a different computer or if your computer is rebuilt, you can simply copy the certificate file to that other system to reuse it, avoiding the delay in requesting for a VPN registration key and generating a new certificate file.
iii.*Note: Password should contain at 8 characters and contain 3 out of the 4 types of lower case, upper chase, numeric, and special characters.
C.At Select Output File Path screen, browse to the location where you want to save the file, name certificate file, click Save.
D.At Enrollment succeeded screen, click Connect then go back to step 9A above.
10.At the connection screen, verify you see Connection succeeded. You are now connected to the DPH VPN.
11.To disconnect from the DPH VPN client, right click the lock in the system tray and select disconnect.
Establishing a VPN connection
1.Right-click the yellow padlock icon in the system tray on the bottom right hand corner and choose Connect.
2.Browse to your VPN certificate .p12 file and enter your VPN certificate password then click Connect.
3.Click Close to minimize the connection progress dialog screen.
4.To disconnect right-click the yellow padlock icon in the system tray on the bottom right hand corner and choose Disconnect from VPN.
Obtaining DPH VPN Access for Mac users:

3.Download Checkpoint VPN Client
1.Download the Checkpoint VPN Client from the link below and save the file. Note the location where you save the file.
a)Checkpoint VPN Client (Mac OSX)and save the file. You will need to unzip the file to install.
4.Install Checkpoint Software
a. Double-click on the downloaded zip file to extract the installer file
b. Double-click on the Endpoint Security Installer. Some Macs might have a security setting saying that it can’t be installed. To Bypass this: go to Apple menu>System Preferences>Security & Privacy.
Click on the lock icon and type in credentials of an account that has administrative level access. On the heading that readsAllow Apps downloaded from: select Open Anyway or Anywhere.
Continue installing the application and Click Continue and on the next screen Click Agree on the software license agreement. It will prompt you for account credentials with administrative level
access to continue installation. Click Close when finished installation completes.
5.Configure Software
a. A Checkpoint site security certificate will show up. Click on trust and continue.
b. The Checkpoint Endpoint Security window will pop up. If you have an existing certificate select the … button and browse tothe location of your DPH VPN .p12certificate file, enter the certificate password and clickconnect.
b1. Create a VPN Certificate (using a Registration Key)

b2. After successful enrollment, Click on Connect. Go back to Step b above.
c. The connection progress bar will show that you have connected successfully and will automatically close. The lock icon on the menu bar on the top right corner should show a green dot indicating that you are connected.
Establishing a VPN connection
1.Click on the padlock icon in the menu toolbar and choose Connect.
2.Browse to your VPN certificate .p12 file and enter your VPN certificate password then click Connect. You should see a progress window followed by a notification of successful connection.
3.To disconnect Click on the padlock icon and select disconnect.
